How to Use the Lazy Susan bearingOur photos show the 6 inch lazy susan in use, with MDF cut-out circles, the instructions apply to the 4 inch bearing and the 12 inch bearing as well.
![]() 1. Centre the bearing on the base, use the smaller hole side. ![]() 2. Mark all 4 holes ready for drilling, make sure you keep the bearing in the centre. ![]() 3. Move the bearing away when drilling the 4 holes - keeping the dust away from the bearing... the holes must suit your SCREWS OR BOLTS. ![]() 4. Now sit the bearing back on and mark the place where you will drill a larger hole to mount the top, big enough to get the screw head through. ![]() 5. Drill the larger hole (about 12mm dia) right through so that you can get access to screw the top onto the bearing. ![]() 6. Now clear all the dust away, and screw the bearing onto the base. ![]() 7. Sit the top onto the bearing. ![]() 8. Get ready to turn the whole thing onto its back. ![]() 9. Turn it over ![]() 10. ![]() 11. Place something heavy on top so it won't move when you ![]() 12. Mark 4 holes as you rotate the big hole around. ![]() 13. Mark the next hole. ![]() 14. Now lift off the base and drill all four holes, to suit your screws. NOTE: DON'T DRILL ALL THE WAY THROUGH! ![]() 15. Clear all the dust away, and place the base onto the top. ![]() 16. ![]() 17. Take your screws and screw the bearing to the top. Make sure your screws are not too long, you don't want them going out the top... ![]() 18. It's finished now, you can decorate it, or unscrew it, decorate it and then put it back together, you choose. | ||||||||||
